Why do so many older Black women feel entitled to say the most rude, discouraging, and downright disrespectful things — especially to younger women?

From unsolicited comments during my pregnancy to childhood trauma from maternal figures, I’m pulling back the curtain on the generational toxicity that’s too often swept under the rug. And I’m asking the hard questions — is this just “how it is”? Or is it time for us to do better?
