Hugo’s disability is what drives his leadership. At a young age, he quickly learned that he had to be very outgoing so that people would really get to know him. He is a role model and supporter for not only those with disabilities but also advocates for Latinos and the LGBTQIA community. Hugo has never let his disability slow him down. He currently works at the University of Illinois in Chicago, as part of the Disability Resource Center Team. He also serves on many different boards and enjoys volunteering. Hugo Trevino is impacting many lives and leads with resilience.
