Ghost In The Shell (2017) review

Hollywood doesn’t really have a great track record when it comes to doing live action films based on anime. Only twice have they accomplished in doing great adaptations with Speed Racer and Guyver: Dark Hero. So in comes Ghost In The Shell which despite it being a film thats all fluff and no substance, it manages to also not being an entirely horrible film. Overall what we have is a very paint by numbers film that hits the fanservice stuff from the anime but doesn’t nail the deep philosophical stuff the 95 movie, manga and even the tv show did.
