I had the pleasure of speaking with Leslie Yaffa about Blacks and mental health. Leslie obtained her EdD in Children, Youth and Human Services (Nova Southeastern University – Florida) in 2008. In 2006, while at the start of her studies she began to take notice of a certain politician named Barack Obama and read his book, “Letters To My Father”.
