Maryland Governor Wes Moore pushed back sharply at President Trump’s threat to deploy the National Guard to Baltimore, calling such tactics performative and unlikely to solve real crime issues. Moore also reinforced a positive message to black children in Maryland and DC that they are not savages like President Trump suggested.
