Winter's Gift: Why Rest and Self-Care Are Essential for Black woman Creatives.

Winter is an invitation to slowdown, self reflect and do as little as possible.

Unfortunately we live in a context that doesn't honor nor operate in seasons.

As a Black girl creative and black woman artist, I need rest and lots of it.

Algorithms, work and school push us beyond our limits.

But what if we can follow the seasons and take the invitation to rest?
