As Republicans vow policy changes and probes if the balance of power is flipped, Jake Tapper gives his analysis of what could happen if they take control of Congress. Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw hopes to become the chair of the House Homeland Security Committee in 12 day’s time. Jake pushes him on what he would prefer his party to prioritize to achieve legislative change, and their plan to raise the debt ceiling on day one, to avoid a government shutdown. Later, they discuss the GOP’s stance on border security and the opioid crisis.
