Rick Helton is a vessel to the Dumas Community. With over 40 year in a Emergency Medical Service role and 24 years as a full time Paramedic, Mr. Rick is responsible for standing up the first ever full time emergency medical services in the City of Dumas, Arkansas. Beginning his career as a volunteer and discovering his passion for service and helping people. Mr. Rick utilized his resources to bring the City of Dumas the support they needed. When not on call Mr. Rick serves the Community as a volunteer in various roles from coaching sports to teaching BLS/CPR and the latest of Bobcat Radio Host. Just last year Mr. Rick was relieved from his job due to an unreasonable political decision made by the City of Dumas. Tune in as he shares his story and the facts.
