Swerve Strickland Is “Mr. Say Less”

After making his record-breaking fourth appearance, Swerve Strickland earns his title of “Mr. Say Less” on this week’s episode of the podcast. The All Elite Wrestling star pulled up on Lowkey and Kaz the day after AEW Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium to talk about the growth he’s seen in his career since the last time he was on the show. He spoke at length about AEW’s diversity issues from last year, and how he feels he’s helped turn the tide in that regard as one of the company’s top black stars and finding success after the WWE, while tapping in with the Hip-Hop community as a performer. He explains how Kevin Gates, Fabolous, Trina, DJ Whoo Kid, Action Bronson and more were all able to make cameos on “Dynamite,” as well as his current rivalry with The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. Swerve also talks about where he ranks himself amongst the best wrestlers in the world and why he feels a type of way about his ranking on the Black Rasslin’ list of greatest black pro wrestlers of the past year.
