No. 46: Roe vs. Wade Overturned + R. Kelly Sentenced to 30 Years + The Fine Art of Knowing When to Let Go.

Friends and Kin in this episode, we are going to discuss LETTING GO – signs that it’s time to let go and a few things to consider before letting go.  However before I get into that discussion I just wanted to mark two moments in history:

ONE: The supreme court overturned Roe vs. Wade… WHAT THE ENTIRE FUCK. Regardless of whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, let’s get one thing straight.  In this country there are so many oxymorons. Emphasis on the MORON part. This means that freedom to have an Abortion is no longer a federal constitutional right. This is disgusting MAINLY because the government should NOT have a say so in what anyone chooses to do with their bodies.
 
 TWO:  Let’s mark that Mr. Robert Kelly – also known as R. Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years in prison. A court in New York sentenced him to FEDERAL racketeering & sex trafficking. Well, well, well… I read an article on CNN about the sentencing which took place on Wednesday, June 29th that was quite interesting.  Now don’t get me wrong, I know that there are a lot of folks that still support the R. – I am not one of them. Just so we are clear. Make sure to read the article I linked right HERE. It is an interesting read.

Back to LETTING GO, one of the monumental things I learned (yes I learn things doing this podcast!) with this episode is this:  Love is all about FREEDOM. The end of love is NOT the end of LIFE – it should be the beginning of an understanding that love sometimes leaves for a reason, but never leaves without a lesson. (I LOVE THAT!)
