Unlike previous X-Men films that kept the strong tradition of delivering in the first half of the movie only for the second half of the movie to shit the bed, Logan actually stays consistent from beginning to end. Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen and Patrick Stewart were all good…hell very good at times and X-23 ends up stealing the movie.
The downside though is that the pacing is DULL. The plot, DULL. Backstory, ALMOST NON-EXISTANT. And as always…mutant powers misused.
End of the day, Manigold made the movie he wanted but your mileage of enjoyment will vary depending on if you’re anal about comic book accuracy and such.
