This week, we’re continuing to celebrate Juneteenth with a special look at the history, significance, and lasting impact of the holiday — from the end of slavery in the United States to the ongoing pursuit of freedom, equality, and progress. 

Hosts Mike Stevens and Nichole Deal chat with Congressman Al Green and Opal Lee — widely known as the “Grandmother of Juneteenth.”
