Carmichael, who has come out and said he is gay, was expressing his love for his best friend, Tyler the Creator. The issue is that Tyler the Creator said he only sees Jerrod as a real brother. The Neptunes are currently seeing eye to eye. The production duo is currently in a legal battle. Chad Hugo is suing Pharrell Williams for filing trademark papers for The Neptunes without his name on it. Pharrell Williams and his attorney are saying that they have been trying to contact Hugo to put his name on the paperwork but could not contact him and they filed the paperwork so a third party would not.
