For today’s episode, Tyrell and Daphne welcome Dr. Breea Willingham, an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at State University of New York, Plattsburgh. During the conversation, Dr. Willingham provides insight into her journey from journalist to academic (36:30) and shares her motivation for studying criminal justice and Black women’s experiences with incarceration (46:45).
