Ep. 813 – The government owes Tennessee State University an astounding $2.1 BILLION dollars

Last night I learned something truly preposterous. Tennessee State University, which is one of the most important Black colleges in America, is owed $2.1 BILLION by the state and federal government after a federal research project determined they, and other Black colleges, were systemically underfunded for years. This is the literal definition of systemic racism.

Today I want to unpack this story and also talk about what we can learn from the bigoted members of Congress that are about to shut the government down.
