“Everything is not perfect but everything is not bad”
In today’s episode, I sat down with another FLY widow, LaSandra Hutchinson. Her husband of 13 years and best friend of 20 years suddenly passed away on October 18, 2017. She created Grace & Grief as a way to document her experience with grief and the rebuilding of her life. She has found that although she is grieving, she is learning about God’s grace and herself in new ways. It is her goal to share those experiences in order to inform, inspire, and build community with others who know what is it to lose someone or something they loved. She is a mother of four children ages 13, 12, 10, and 8 years old. They have become her greatest supporters and self-designated social media managers. She is a writer, speaker, YouTuber, and social justice advocate. She invites you to take this journey of loss, pain, growth, grief and grace with her. Connect with LaSandra @graceandgrief
In this episode, you can expect to hear: -Becoming a solo mother -The experiences and struggles of widows -How to take care of your emotions -Understanding what widows have gone through -Widows needs space -And a lot more!
