Backwoods Backstage @ ONE Music Fest w/ KIRK & RASHEEDA podcast
in this episode, I have the honor of speaking with Samantha & Sophia Taylor about her bravery and endurance as a 4-time cancer survivor. As a single mom, this journey has been tough for her. Her faith has been tested over and over again. Her mental health has been in places of despair – and her body has nearly failed her. Yet she has overcome. Samantha shares what has been like as a woman, as a mother to continuously get back up after being knocked down so much. Her daughter Sophia also shares what it is like having a parent that has suffered so much in life. She also sheds light on ways to help support a person going through a similar battle. How to be there for them, what to say and what not to. Together they give others hope and encouragement that every day is a blessing and that miracles are still happening.
