Episode 315: “RUN ON” | On The Way Podcast! #onthewaypodcast podcast
This week on Dear Young Queen: The Podcast, your hosts Ashley Weatherspoon and Alexis Stoudemire are coming to you live from #CasaLex with guest, Sahar Bitaraf.
This Persian Queen sits down with Ashley & Alexis to chat working out with Sahar- a survivors story, the bravery of the women in Iran, and finding a career in tech.
When Sahar was 13, her parents sent her to Iran to live and learn more about her culture. Her first time in Iran was more than culture shock. From squat toilets to a run in with The Moral Police over red nail polish, Sahar’s personal experience helps the ladies learn more about the current state of affairs for women in Iran.
As they do on every episode, the ladies talk to Sahar about some of her firsts and lasts. When was the first time she felt “other than?” When was the last time she exchanged gifts with a man?
