#DearMama Black women are fighting to stay alive while giving birth and Black babies are fighting to be born.  No one is coming to save us.  We are the ones we’ve been waiting for and there have been and continue to be brave Black women on the front lines of this fight. Our intention of this episode is to share the importance of Black birth workers and encourage Black mothers to discover the power within themselves to become active engaged participants in their pregnancy and birthing process.  Be sure to tag us on social media when sharing the episode and use the hashtag #BornFree.
