For the first time ever on the podcast, I am excited to share my first male guest interview with this Oscar Award Winning Film Maker, in the making, Mr. Kobina deGraft-Johnson.
Kobina worked as an Accountant at a top-tier NYC Accounting firm for 7 years when he realized something was missing. One evening at a happy hour event, someone asked if he could help take photos. These photos (taken with an iPhone 4) were so good that they sparked an interest in photography! This interest led to the creation of HIS VERY OWN MOVIE PRODUCTION COMPANY, Anibok Studios and his relocation back to Ghana.
In the episode Kobina talks about his journey, why Africa is the future and drops some encouraging words for aspiring artists and entrepreneurs along the way!
To keep up with all of his amazing projects, casting calls and his awesomeness please follow him on IG @anibokstudios
