In this episode of Community Connection, Tina Cosby discusses the recent shooting at Councilor Ron Gibson’s home, where a note was left saying “no data centers.” The incident has sparked a community conversation about the proposed data center in the Martindale Brightwood neighborhood. Julia Vaughn, executive director of Common Cause Indiana, joins the show to talk about the upcoming election season and the importance of voter education. They also discuss the Save Act and its potential impact on Indiana’s election laws. Later Tina is joined by Maggie Lewis, president of Indianapolis City County Council, Nick Roberts, (D) Council District 4 and Renee Allen, (D) Council District 15 to discuss last night City Council meeting.  Later in the show Tina is joined by Tijideen Rowley, Artistic Director, Indianapolis Black Theater Company and two of his actors.
