NTSB officials say they’ve recovered all three data recorders from the deadly midair crash in Washington, D.C.— two black boxes from the passenger jet and one from the Army helicopter. After expressing condolences to the families of those lost in the midair collision in Washington D.C., President Trump shifted focus on Thursday, raising concerns about diversity efforts and their impact on aviation hiring standards. Firefighters have nearly 100% contained the Palisades and Eaton Fires that devastated Southern California. An atmospheric river is expected to bring up to a foot of rain to the north part of the state.
