Bio

With the premiere of Acorn TV’s new mystery drama You’re Killing Me, I wanted to introduce composer, songwriter, producer, and artist Alexandra Petkovski AKA FJØRA. Executive produced by and starring Brooke Shields, the series marks Alexandra’s first network television project, for which she created the score, main title theme, and original songs featured throughout the season. 

Known for blending score and soundtrack, Alexandra built a musical world where themes introduced throughout the series conclude in songs released under FJØRA. Inspired by the New England coastal setting, she incorporated sampled seashells and seagulls into the score, while also lending her vocals to the main title theme. The project was a strong collaboration with showrunner Robin Bernheimburger, who shares her passion for music-driven storytelling.

Prior to You’re Killing Me, Alexandra worked alongside Linda Perry on Prime Video’s Welcome to the Blumhouse and was recently featured in Emmy Magazine ahead of the series premiere. Mentored by Siddharth “Sid” Khosla (Only Murders in the Building), she can speak about blending songwriting with scoring, developing a distinctive compositional style, and building a career across both the artist and composer worlds.
