Behind the Scenes with Marisa Ewing: The Art of Sound Design

In this wide-ranging conversation, host Talib Jasir interviews Marisa Ewing founder of Hemlock Creek Productions.

Marisa discusses her journey becoming an audio professional, the various roles she has performed in the industry, and how she developed her current project Liars and Leeches audio drama. 

Marisa shares her experiences in the indie podcasting space, gives insights into her work on video games, such as, The Last of Us and other projects, and discusses the importance of room acoustics in podcasting.

She also gives advice to aspiring audio professionals, especially women and people of color, looking to break into the industry.

Marisa talks about her plans for future projects and initiatives she’s excited about.
