BEE 111 Attorney Tiyani Major, Co-Founder of Logistics, Founder of the Legal Werk

Tiyani is an admitted attorney with 6 years’ experience including time at international firm Hogan Lovells.   At 26 years old she co-founded Lawgistics Legal Consultants, with her father who is also an attorney, a niche legal consultancy with a specific focus on providing advice on environmental, labour, health and safety, regulatory and commercial law. Lawgistics was founded on the vision to “disrupt the status quo of the law” with its dynamic, young leadership and collaborative work model.  In 5 years the team has grown to 10 attorneys in various capacities.   She provides multi-disciplinary legal and related services, primarily to the Mining and Downstream Energy sectors. Her area of expertise is in the commercial law drafting, conducting compliance audits, preparation, revision and implementation of Social and Labour Plans in the mining sector.
