For the longest time since late 90’s/Early 2000’s, James Cameron had been sitting on the project of doing an adaptation of the Yukito Kishiro property Battle Angel Alita. Constant stories and an Avatar movie later, we finally get his movie realized on the big screen and it ends up being a decent watch overall. The main thing about this film is that the visuals and action is what keeps your attention from beginning to end. Its not to say the acting is bad. Its okay and its really Christoph Waltz and Rosa Salazar that stand out with there respective characters especially Rosa’s Alita. Overall its a well done anime adaptation mainly cause you can tell the folks behind it care deeply about the property.
