Most of us can say that we’ve struggled with loneliness at some point in our lives. The feeling can be especially noticeable around the times of year we experience “triggers” (ex: death of a loved one, holidays, etc.).
You may feel like you are the only one feeling “disconnected” but that is far from the truth. In fast, a January 2020 survey of 10,000 adults by Cigna found that 61% of those surveyed said they felt lonely. Sadly, we rarely talk about feelings of loneliness and don’t always know what to do with these feelings.
