It really annoys me when people say this, because it’s the ultimate gaslight. 

It is victim blaming to say that it is your fault that you’re treated badly. 

However, we do entertain what we think we deserve. 

If folks are not respecting you, it’s time to set boundaries. 

You deserve good things.
