Demea Morris – 15 Year Old Shot In The Head While Trying To Flee Robbers In Chicago – No Arrest

In the late night hours of Easter Sunday, April 9th, 2023,
Chicago Police responded to calls of a person saying their cousin was shot
after an attempted carjacking on 110th & Ashland. When they arrived, they
found Demea in the backseat of a car unresponsive with a Gsw to the back of her
head. She was rushed to UofC Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. CPD
says the shooting happened on 106th & Sangamon where they found shell
casings. The car drove to 110th & Ashland. CPD has no suspect in custody,
as area 2 detectives are investigating. Anyone with information on this
