254: Celtics Are Cooked | Nuggets Sweep Lakers

On this edition of Road Trippin’, the crew begins by looking at the Celtics/Heat series, and how Channing believes the Boston lineup has quit before they are even out of it. Looking deeper, Channing also describes how it is a top-down disaster, as first year head coach Joe Mazzulla hasn’t done the little things to help put Boston in a position to win. On the other side, Rich praises the Miami Heat, and describes how he believes that they were much more than their seed says they were.

Also, the crew discusses the impact of head coaches on teams that have been successful in the NBA long term. Rich and Channing talk about where Heat coach Erik Spoelstra ranks among coaches all time, and compare him to the likes of Hall of Fame coaches. The crew also wonders where Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone ranks in the NBA, and Rich looks at his comments about his team not getting talked about in the media.
