As humans, we have been designed and created for relationships. With this in mind, there is nothing more important than having a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. He is the administrator of the new covenant of grace, but also the most forgotten person in the Holy Trinity. When we got born again and delivered from the law, He became the one who leads and guides us; a relationship with God through the Holy Spirit is how we know we are Christians. The Holy Ghost, who empowered Jesus to perform miracles during His ministry, gives us the same abilities. As the Spirit, God, Himself, lives in us as our heavenly Father; therefore, as His children, we do well to spend time with Him, pay attention to His guidance, and not ignore Him. We only succeed when we wait on Him.
