Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant is a large carnivore ecologist with the American Museum of Natural History. She is a pioneer among black women who have attained a Ph.D in her field, where she studies the American black bear, African lions in rural Kenya and Tanzania, and grizzly bears in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
