Today on the Rutledge Perspective, I am joined by LaGina R Harris. LaGina is a Social Impact Entrepreneur and the Founder of the US Space right here in Houston, Texas. LaGina is also the Co-Creator of the Melanin Minds Mental Health Conference which provides mental health resources that educate, amplify, and create spaces for personal & and professional development within BIPOC communities.
LaGina is a woman on a mission to amplify, support, and serve others. Today, she’s going to help you craft your mission so that it can guide you through the tough times that are inevitable as an entrepreneur. Listen as LaGina pushes us all to understand who we are, our motto, our morals, and the values behind our businesses. If you’re an entrepreneur who feels stuck and dissatisfied with your business and the direction it’s headed, this is the show for you!

🔑 Once you craft your mission, make note of those words, and make sure that you’re able to articulate those words to different people in different ways.
🔑 You don’t need to stay in your lane, find someone in a different lane who can do the driving.
🔑 If you can’t find happiness in what you’re doing then just go back to getting paid to work for somebody.

Very simple assignment this week: If you don’t have a mission for your business, get one! Write down your mission in as many places as possible and get very familiar with it. If you find yourself getting off track or lacking purpose, revert to your mission.
