We're Still Standing

SonRise Creator, Kelli Richardson Lawson, introduces Life Coach, Vallori Thomas. As founder of Wow Coaching and Consulting, Vallori is an accredited member of the Forbes Coaches Council. She’s also the author of several books including Through it All, We’re Still Standing: A Journey of Empowerment and Triumph in the Face of Adversity. In this episode, Vallori shares her own hard-won wisdom and personal journey. Beginning with a difficult adolescence, she left home at 16, later became homeless and ended up in prison. That was her wake up call.  After hitting rock bottom, she said the only place left to go was up.  She vowed that if she could find her way out of the darkness and get to a place of clarity, she would help others do the same. Vallori shares her life lessons with SonRise parents as they help their teens navigate the oftentimes rocky terrain of young adulthood.
