The needs we were taught to downplay, deny, or carry alone. It’s about the ways Black women learn to be dependable, capable, and low-maintenance, often at the cost of ourselves. We’re naming what we need emotionally, physically, and relationally, and challenging the belief that needing support makes us weak, selfish, or burdensome. Your needs aren’t a burden. They’re information about what you need to feel whole and sis, it’s time to listen.
