The Top 20 Countdown Show (The Series) Episode 2 – Our Favorite Romantic Movies 2/19/2026 podcast
Just a heads up: This episode contains discussions of sexual assault, and some may find it upsetting. We encourage listeners to prepare themselves.
There is a dark side to Hollywood and the entertainment industry. The ecosystems within the entertainment industry are breeding grounds for predators. Power dynamics are constantly in play as artists work to follow their dreams. Predators love to be the gatekeepers, but Lisa is working to expose these abusive tactics to create change and safety for those who are following their dreams.
Today, Lisa welcomes multi-hyphenated artist Ariel Lyndsey to the podcast. Ariel went viral when she was publicly assaulted while on a girl’s trip to Vegas. Her friend just so happened to capture the aftermath of the event and her efforts to have authorities take the assault seriously. Ariel and Lisa discuss how this public event triggered a traumatic experience that happened years earlier at an audition.
They chat about how unregulated industries allow for predators to be repeat offenders, the importance of sharing your survivor story, ways to navigate trolls, and the journey to hold predators accountable.
This episode is all about the highs and lows of sharing your story but, ultimately, how liberating it is to share your truth and reclaim your agency after abuse.
From now on we share our unfiltered truth.
