Taylor Swift Endorses Harris, The Misogyny of Elon Musk & The Anti-Black Racism of J.D. Vance & The GOP

In this episode, Margo & Tashira discuss Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris, and the power of celebrity endorsements in today’s political climate. We then move on to a discussion of Elon Musk’s highly problematic response to Swift’s endorsement, and we speculate on the reasons Musk has moved so far to the right in recent years, despite the fact that he is the CEO (or more accurately, Technoking) of an electric car company while republicans run against the adoption of electric vehicles as part of their party platform. We then move on to a discussion of the anti-black racism inherent in the recent false allegations by the GOP that Haitian migrants are eating family pets in Springfield, Ohio.
