Shedeur Sanders has been perfect in fall

podcast August 8, 2023

Background

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is one of the bigger mysteries in college football in 2023 and is poised for a big year. Even with everyone watching for him and being aware of him due to his success at Jackson State and the fact his dad is Deion Sanders, he may surprise some. The other day we learned that he has thrown 22 touchdowns to 0 interceptions during Colorado’s fall camp. I break down why this is good news for the offense, and why this could be bad news for the defense moving forward.

08:02 We received an update on the Colorado running backs and as we expected there are two front runners. Both Houston transfer Alton McCaskill and Kentucky transfer Smoke are leading the way as detailed by one of the coaches. It was also revealed that they will be relying primarily on two backs, so guys like Anthony Hankerson, Dylan Edwards, and Charlie Offerdahl will need to figure out ways to carve out roles for themselves.

13:01 Many are talking about Colorado and how they can take over the Big 12, but it wont be an easy task. There are five programs in their new conference that I think will challenge them in Utah, UCF, Kansas State, Texas Tech and TCU. I break down why they are challenging and what they have all improved on to even have a case made for them.
