S7 Ep 123: So You Think You Know How To Network?

Basile Lemba Born in Cameroon in Western Africa, Basile Lemba moved to France at the age of 14. Upon finishing his high school studies, he attended the world-famous Académie des Beaux-Arts where he studied Architecture.

He then worked for 2 years with an architecture design studio. Following that, he took up an offer with a non-profit organization in Florida, USA. There he got thoroughly trained as an executive/administrator, then took on a Senior Executive position overseeing the following sectors: Public Relations, Marketing, Sales & Promotions, and Procurement & Delivery, and more.  Ten years later he moved to Northern Virginia to take on a new challenge: to start his own business ventures!  While attending most of the area business network meetings, Basile felt something was missing. Eventually, that “something” finally became crystal clear to him–he discovered that many of the businesses attending these events lacked the specific know-how to properly connect with one another. 

This problem started with the way events themselves were set up. He then made it his business to research, put together, and test workable know-how and formulas that would help resolve networking and networking events setup. His idea involved creating events where business owners and other professionals could come to get educated, network, get results and leave totally fulfilled.  That is how the BL Networking Breakfast Club was born. From the very beginning, the events were very much welcome and appreciated. The attendees were ecstatic. They started requesting, in addition to the Breakfast Club event, an opportunity to showcase their goods.  To fulfill this request, a bi-annual BL SMALL BUSINESS EXPO was created. These events have now been taking place for over 14 years.

With a soon-to-be-released networking book coming out, a Networking Consulting division is now being added as the third leg of the organization. This section will offer online courses, Networking Conferences, Networking classes (on-site and off-site), Networking retreats, and more.  Basile Lemba now stands ready to help even more small businesses by sharing with them truly workable Networking know-how that will help them achieve financial success and personal improvement.
