We’re back from a short break and ready to chit chat. Hali recaps her second college homecoming at CAU. Dj Candy Raine talks her Gucci Mane pop up party 1017, traveling for dj gigs and A3C. Cidnee and Nika talk about the festival as well and their plans to relax for the rest of the year.

Our CareFreeBlackGirl of the week is Miss Summer Walker – the girls talk doing your best and creating with social anxiety.

There’s a lot of news happening with the industry girls . We start with our semi problematic fave Doja Cat. The girls live for her but the people are wondering if she still uses the “f word”.

We move on to the pressing topic of Kanye West and his Sunday service album . The girls had varying opinions regarding his antics. The 25 and up seemed to be Over it. While the 25 and under ( Hali) was in support of his album and church service.

During the get free segment the groups talks long distance dating. Most people said it’s not for them but those who have experienced it dropped some gems on how to make it work.

Cidnee talks about changing her diet and letting go of meat. Nika tells the girls about her experience going vegan for a few months. CareFreeBlackGirl pod encourages our listeners to switch up their diet at least once in the year!

Lastly we talk the serious stuff – politics. While everyone is talking impeachment we’re a little nervous about what’s to come next. If 45 is out we get Mike Pence the most brutal of them all . Cidnee gives us insight on ways to get rid of them both.
