S04.E06 – Lamar Part 1: There was some healing that I needed

In this episode (There was some healing that I needed), I begin my conversation with Lamar as we discuss his journey in marriage and learning to trust.

We talk about how to shoot your shot at a woman you see rejecting other guys. We discuss the importance of having a ride-or-die partner and someone who is willing to “shoot with you in the gym.” We unpack the struggles that can come in a relationship from issues with trust and vulnerability. We go on to highlight his process of learning how to love someone and creating an infrastructure for vulnerability. We spend time expressing our thoughts on therapy as a preventative measure and pathway for growth and healing. We explore his first few years of marriage and how he and wife survived the challenges that made it rough. We also touch on learning how to balance passions and personal interests with the things that actually matter (i.e., God, wife, children, family).

We are on all major platforms like YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/@ThinkLoveWife), Apple Podcasts, Spotify, TuneIn, Castbox and other streaming services. Don’t forget to subscribe and share with your friends.
