Police discovered the body of Instagram influencer Beauty
Couch, 22 — known on Instagram as Beauty Katera — near the scene of a burned vehicle in Georgia, and now “foul play is suspected.” The news came Thursday after police in the town of Austell, part of the Atlanta metropolitan area, posted a statement describing the incident that had occurred one day prior. On Wednesday, “at approximately 12:18 p.m., Austell Fire was dispatched to Joe Jerkins Blvd and Landers Street for a brush fire,” the statement read. Upon arrival, authorities found a car fully engulfed in flames, and learned it was registered to one of Couch’s parents. The police were told that Couch “most commonly drove the vehicle,” and that she hadn’t been heard from since Tuesday morning. Beauty Couch had over 150,000 followers on Instagram and was known for her roller-skating and dance videos. In a statement to WSB-TV Atlanta, her mother, Kimberly Couch, spoke of her daughter as “a sweet girl” who “never bothered nobody.” Anyone who may have information into the incident is asked to contact the Cobb County Police Tip Hotline at 770-499 4111.
