Friends and Kin this episode is part one of a heavy conversation that I had with my homegirl, Gina of The Bedroom Bartender! We both made a cocktail that was Autumn inspired, even though it’s been toggling between Summertime & Fresh Autumn Chills on the East Coast off and on for the past month. 

This is part two of the conversation & it is HEAVY. We talk shop about grief. Gina losing her mom just as the pandemic got settled in its skin and me losing my grandmother at the top of this year. I went to Gina for some support, because that’s what friends do – they seek one another out for support when they can’t figure it out. There are tears, smiles, “aha!” moments and gratitude. Listen and I pray this is a blessing and helpful to someone who, like me doesn’t know what to do amidst their grief.
