NBA In-Season Tournament takeaways and the future’s IQ (feat. Immanuel Quickley)

LeBron James hoisted the first-ever NBA in-season tournament champion trophy and MVP hardware after 21 years in the league. In a tournament that showed off talent in KD, Giannis, and up-and-comer Tyrese Haliburton, The King STILL shined. Was his path easier or is he just THAT good? And can this kid Haliburton really put the whole city of Indy back on the NBA map? We broke down every aspect of this highly successful tournament and what it means for the NBA’s future.  

And since we’re talking about the future, it only felt right to share our sit down interview with Immanuel Quickley during the past offseason. Quickley discussed how Coach Calipari’s Kentucky program prepared him for the high pressure that comes with playing in the NBA’s biggest market: New York City. After coming in second for the Sixth Man title in just his third year in the league, the 25th overall pick is beginning to carve out his own lane in the big apple.
