Pay as you go or make them commit. If you make them, then for how long: 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, or something else.

I have tried it all, I am very settled in my client time commitments. Let’s see what is best for you.

I will say this secret, a lengthy contract equals predictable income, but everybody ain’t ready. I’m talking about you, not the client. Many of you are not ready because you believe long-term commitment is a discourager.
