In this episode of the Balance Boldly Podcast seating with Naketa Ren Thigpen let’s welcome Jeanie & Ross Coomber, they are amazing human beings, the absolute definition of a power couple as I have defined it. Power couples, although they can be celebrities and high profile, that is not the core characteristic that I define them by.
I describe a power couple as two people with strong what I call IPA that's being influential in their chosen industry or expertise, their philanthropic, not just financially but energetically, they're not afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive in. And let's put this in the parentheses. The final part of that IPA is they have to be strong advocates for causes that impact disproportionately affected groups of people.
That's super important because power couples give back. And they're not just giving from little extras, they're giving from a space of sacrifice and time, energy, and resources, which is super important. They also love each other. They are in it to win with their forever love. They believe not only in the potential of themselves, but the potential that they have together when they unite as a power couple.
