The police officers, Hunter Elward and Jeffery Middleton, were charged and convicted of torturing black men. They received 20 years and 17.5 years in prison, respectively. It is the 20th anniversary of the last Destiny’s Child album, Destiny Fulfilled. Matthew Knowles, the father of Beyoncé and the manager of Destiny’s Child, wrote a heartfelt message online to commemorate the album and the 20th anniversary. The parents of the late great NBA legend, Kobe Bryant, are selling Bryant’s championship ring. The ring was given to Kobe Bryant’s father by Kobe after winning his first championship.
