John Wayne S., III got his start as a Production Assistant for George Tillman’s first film, Scenes of the Soul. Two decades later, he’s a filmmaker in his own right, with two films scheduled to release this year. Before starting Londyn Town Pictures (formerly JWS Productions, Inc.), John also worked in the music industry. He started off producing music videos. From there he became publicist for Grammy nominated music producer Steve “Silk” Hurley. Starting off with little experience as a publicist, he climbed to the position of Director of A&R where he groomed artists and opened offices in both Japan and the United Kingdom. His film Ebony Hustle was released this past December.
