Dr. Vanessa Tyler takes us inside the tragedy of the Sapelo Island Gangway accident.  Hear firsthand accounts from survivors of the collapsed gangway at the Marsh Landing Dock on Sapelo Island. It was supposed to be a day of celebration, commemorating Sapelo Island’s Gullah-Geechee community made up of descendants of Black slaves. Instead, it was a day of disaster and survival.
