P-Valley is an American drama television series created by Katori Hall. The series is an adaptation of Hall's play, Pussy Valley. The show follows several people who work at a strip club in the Mississippi Delta. The ladies cover a lot of ground this week. From the stunning audio visual experience of the show, to the country grammar and dialect of the larger than life charaters, there was no shortage of topics. As the longest epidose to date, the conversaion tocuhed on respectability politics, the art of pole dancing, stereotypes, sexual liberation, hoodoo, and much more. **Stranger than Fiction: **The episode ran long this week so the ladies mentioned a bit of news that was sad and definitely stranger than fiction: "Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe died after being shot on the street in the city of Nara on Friday July 8, 2022 — a shocking act of violence in a country with one of the world's lowest rates of gun crime. The shooting suspect was arrested by police, who said he admitted to shooting Abe."
